We accept a wide range of medical insurance at the Clinic. Your final bill will depend on which type of coverage you have.

• If you have an HMO or an HMO through Medicare, you will need a referral from your primary care physician. Also, please note that each plan varies on how much acupuncture is covered.
• If you have a PPO, a referral is generally not required but plans vary on what they cover. This is particularly true for each individual plan’s coverage of acupuncture.
• If you have Medicare, it will cover up to twelve trigger point injections in a twelve month period and up to $1700 in massage and physical therapy. However, Medicare does not cover acupuncture.

Patients are, of course, responsible for any services not covered by their insurance company. In addition, if a patient does not have insurance, he must pay for each visit out of pocket. Generally, payment is due on the day of service.
