Resident Rotation
The integrative East-West Medicine clinic rotation offers interns and residents the opportunity to get clinical experience in the practice of integrative medicine either as a continuity clinic or a two week to one month intensive rotation. Residents will have opportunities to interact and learn on a one-on-one basis from Center faculty and staff. Students will also be exposed to other important factors influencing the practice of integrative East-West medicine, including but not limited to legal, financial, social, research, and international aspects of the practice.
Over the years, some residents who have taken the Center's intensive medical clerkships have returned to UCLA for fellowship to train to be a leader in this innovative healthcare model.
Registration
For UCLA residents:
Please register for rotations through the House staff office. We prefer rotations that last 3-4 weeks.
For Non-UCLA resident/medical student:
Please send one copy of your resume with a brief personal statement that includes reasons why you are motivated to participate in the rotation. If you had previous experience with complementary, alternative, and/or integrative medicine, please include it in the statement. You will receive a response within 2 weeks from the time we receive your resume. You will be required to submit proof of malpractice insurance coverage for the period of rotation. This document should be received by our office at least one month prior to starting your rotation.
