The UCLA Center for East-West Medicine and the UCLA School of Public Health are currently collaborating with the University of Toronto on a Neck Pain Utility Study. This study, whose aim is to evaluate the quality of life of patients with neck pain at the Center, is part of the Neck Pain Task Force 2000-2010.

Researchers at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine have conducted a UCLA IRB-approved clinical research study on the effectiveness of Tai Chi in improving the quality of life of patients with tension headaches.
